![]() ![]() This is a quirky car, and for some reason I like that. Theft- no one wants this, and no one can drive it because it's a stick anyways. (I also have no payment as I bought this outright in 18' for $7500) It still burns only 0.1 quarts of oil over 10,000 miles as well- it's running just like new still. This is not THAT important to me.Ĭheap- basic means cheap and there's very little to go wrong on this car from engine to electronics. I like that it does what I want it to do, when I tell it. Also, despite the meager HP, it somehow does just fine even when fully loaded up, unlike a honda fit I used to own or even an impreza I had, both of which became tractor-trailer like on the interstate when loaded to the ceiling/stuff on top.Ĭontrol- it has a stick, completely defeatable traction control, a real cable e-brake, very little electronics. There's something to be said here for safety too, as I have dodged animals and cars that I'm not sure I would have been able to in a sloppy wallowing vehicle. It's not exactly "fun" like a Supra, but the steering is direct, the suspension is firm and responsive, and the stick lets me pick my own gears to get the most out of a car that can only do 8.8sec to 60. ![]() Plus with a roof rack and a trailer hitch (I have both) you can fit an enormous amount of stuff.and still gets the mpgs.ĭriving experience. Long items 8-9-10+ feet can fit fully inside. With the seats out, all seats, I have a 7" memory foam mattress that fits in the back. It's 6' 6" to the front seat with it in a normal seating position. The worst I ever get is in heat of summer (AC) and 70mph highways on east coast where I might get 30.īig. MPGS- it's exceeding epa rating, which is 28, by 5-10mpg (20-30%). These are just right off the top of my head. Someone asked me for pros/cons here so I'm just going to list. ![]()
